Tour around Shamian Island: stopping at the medical clinic where adoption medical exams are conducted and visiting the photo shop where your child’s visa photo was taken. In the afternoon, take another trip down memory lane when you visit the American Consulate. Your guide will then escort you to a local park where you can linger and relax while enjoying a story-time of traditional Chinese folktales to deepen your understanding of the rich cultural heritage of your child.

This morning you will visit the the HuangGang Orphanage in the new location, and have the Moving Ceremony there. After the included Chinese lunch, you may read your adopted child’s adoption file in the orphanage, and visit the old HuangGang Orphanage location. If available, meet your adopted child’s nanny or the foster care family tonight.

On your way to return to Wuhan, you will visit the Dongpo ChiBi site, which has pavilions built more than 1500 years ago. You may also visit a local elementary school in the countryside as well as visit a farmer’s house and get out into a rice paddy to feed a water buffalo in the field.
